Well it's not exactly the most high tech looking thing, but the light on the front is pretty neat. 300GB hard drive for $120. Not too bad. Here it is: My New External

I'm happy. It's going to take about 10 hours to transfer everything.

Update: haha 10 hours. Say more like, well I don't know. But the thing went all night and it's only got 20 some GBs done. Sooooo this is going to take a while. I guess the backup mode on this thing goes slower than usual.

aghhhh do I buy an external hard drive or not. It's going to take forever to burn as many DVDs as it's going to take to back up my system for Vista. It will still take a long time with the HDD, but a lot easier. Here's what I'm looking at:

Windows Vista...FREE

Okay long story made short...I got Windows Vista for FREE! Yes it was legal. A little while back, I saw this thing on Engadget that said Microsoft was providing this "developer's" thing, where when you completed some requirements (watching a few boring videos) you would get a free copy of Windows Vista (M.S.R.P $299.99).
I got an e-mail and they said they were sending it...just got it today! Here's a few pics:

Well I'm about ready to kill right now. Some stupid kid in the college parking lot ran into my back fender. Course the idiot didn't have enough civility to leave me a notice. I am so mad right now. Plus our speech teacher had us watch some questionable content in class.

On the up side. it sounds like I'll be able to go to the museum with this one girl I met in our humanities class.

Oh Goodie

Guess what I get to do! I get to go to more classes!! Last night was sure a blast though. Ten minutes bio lab last night, I went and had to look at the back of my "finished" homework paper, and there's a whole of list of things I didn't do. So I got to turn in an unfinished homework paper! yessss

Strange..well last night anyway

Well I sure had an interesting night, last night. Okay so I was going to my Bio class, and trying to find a parking place. I was in a little bit of a hurry cause I don't like to be late. So I guess I rushed it a little too much, misjudged the nose on my Camaro, and sort of...bumped the guy in the next parking place. I don't know why, I wasn't freaking out or anything, so I wrote the guy a note. I didn't see any damage, lucky. Then on top of that, while in class, I found out that I had locked my keys in the car. When I got out to the car, I had left the light on! Goodness, so my mom had to come bring the extra keys. Despite of all that, I was like in the high good mood frenzie last night. Just ask Madeline. I haven't felt that good in a long time.

Stinking Week

Okay well not a great week. The college classes all are great so far. Teachers all good. Just some other stuff went on this week, then on top of that, through some events, I ate a rather large amount of sugar (sugar affects me pretty bad), and I was incredibly down part of the week. But I'm pretty much better now. Getting to meet some new people at the college. Now I just have to meet the golf instructor. So far the people that I've met at the college are, in order: Rakel, Brian, Keith, Nick, Fatime, and James. WOW Don't overdo it on the congeniality Chris! Well man, people are harder to get to know than you think. Luckily the instructors have made us meet some people.

Classes

Well had my first "in-class" college class today. Went great! Teacher seems to be pretty good. Government though, so it's not my favorite subject, but it will be nice to know what's going on.

I was just thinking about this whole blog thing. I feel weird typing about myself like this. It's like, who'd want to read about me? But then I thought, well hey, it's not like I'm forcing anyone to read it and it's fun to write down thoughts, so here it is! =)

Sorry for the weirdness...idge...Well this is really kind of my first blog thing, so this should be interesting. So here's the last few years of my life in a nutshell:

Life was okay
Started working at Petsmart
Trouble at home
Quit Petsmart
Trouble left home (haha)
Joined Martial Arts
Fairly uneventful for a year or so
Got my black belt! yesss
Left the north, along with all my friends and where I grew up
Got to the south, where I met new friends (some online and some here), still got to talk with the old ones
Life is good, better than it was a long time ago.

So there it is. I'm starting college courses tomorrow. American Government, Humanities, Speech, Biology, and the strangest one...GOLF...yes golf. I've really been enjoying going to this one church down here. Everyone is great and I'm becoming really good friends with this one girl, so I can't complain.
